Theme 1

Task

Develop a system that seamlessly converts social media content into comprehensive Amazon product listings, enabling buyers to easily compare and purchase products

Use Case

ArjunWellness, a prominent fitness influencer, recently launched a cutting-edge Smart Fitness Tracker featuring heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and personalized fitness goal settings. Given Arjun's massive following, the product generated significant interest among his fans.

However, selling through direct messaging on social media has proven inefficient, due to lack of delivery tracking and multiple other factors, leading to customer dissatisfaction. To improve the buying experience and boost customer satisfaction, ArjunWellness is exploring more robust e-commerce channels. They plan to create a dedicated online store and partner with trusted e-commerce platforms to ensure a seamless and reliable purchasing process for their followers. Can you help them achieve this goal?

Hints

Here are some approaches you can consider while developing your solution:

  • Implement a GenAI tool capable of extracting relevant information from static social media posts to generate comprehensive Amazon product listings.
  • Develop a GenAI tool that can differentiate between content and context, processing videos (audio and visual details) into detailed product listings on Amazon.

Tech Stack

While this is not an exhaustive list, the following tech stack suggestions are based on industry best practices and popular technologies:

  • Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing
  • Python, or other suitable programming languages
  • Frontend Development: ReactJS or Angular
  • Backend Development: Node.js with Express
  • AWS Services, Docker

Resources

Participants are encouraged to leverage existing open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for building their prototypes.

Guidelines

Here’s what you need to keep in mind as you build your solutions:

LLMs

We encourage you to include Large Language Models (LLMs) in your solution.

Data Privacy and Security

We take privacy seriously! Please ensure you're implementing data privacy and security measures while handling sensitive business information.

Content Moderation

Your system should filter out any offensive, inappropriate, or irrelevant content from social media posts before creating product listings.

Content Accuracy & Quality

Keep it sharp! Make sure the information the tool pulls from social media is accurate and complete, to avoid misinformation or incomplete product details in the listing.

Regulatory Compliance

The product descriptions and images must follow Amazon’s guidelines and relevant consumer protection regulations, including restrictions on false advertising, product claims, and labeling.

Handle Media Smartly

Make sure that any images or videos pulled from social media meet Amazon’s quality standards (including aspect ratios) for listings. We want everything to look just right!
